We have two, spooktacular Halloween rock painting workshops coming up. You can create your spooky art to share or use it to decorate your doors, tables, windows etc.

On the 21st June 2019, Taff Rocks hosted an exhibition of bumble bee inspired painted rocks.

A Taff Rocks rock painting workshop, our very first public event, supported a Project Skyline event today - and it was out of this world!  We were there to run a workshop for those who were taking a break from constructing a new solar-powered bench with the local children and young people.

Initially, the event was to have happened on the Mount Pleasant Fields, but, as it is typical in Wales, the rain stopped play! But no, it did not! The event was moved to an indoor venue with the woodworking workshop going ahead outdoors because the rain felt it would hold out for a while.

We Did It!

Taff Rocks, the fully constituted organisation!

On Monday the 4th of March 2019, Taff Rocks became a fully constituted Not-For-Profit* Organisation. This does not mean that you now have to start paying for finding, hiding, creating or even being a member of the online Taff Rocks Facebook Group...

What this does mean is, we can now apply for funding to run Rock Schools / Community based workshops.

The Co-Founders would like to thank all those who agreed to become part of our new Voluntary Management Committee and giving their support. However, without the help of Invest Local Ynysowen, we would not have got this far and, to those, we are eternally grateful.

Our next step is the Treasurer's Bank Account.

Being a constituted organisation means that the Co-Founders are answerable to a team of people who manage the organisation, in turn, we are answerable to you, our users/beneficiaries.
