Taff Rocks, following a successful funding bid, has started on the road of an "inspiration and ideas" library.
Part of our aims and objectives is to help you, the 'Rocker' / rock artist, with ideas, tutorials and other such methods of inspiring you. We have, up until now, only been able to supply simple colouring books of images to copy, we now have a growing collection of books that can help inspire you with so many ideas.
At two recent visits to groups, we took these books to show the members just what can be done. At first, before the books were shown, some members were interested but were concerned about their own lack if inspiration. However, once the books were placed on the table, the inspiration in the rooms were increased 100-fold!
These books will be available at our regular workshops run in the Ynysowen Community at St John's Ambulance Hall in Nixonville, Merthyr Vale every first Tuesday of the month between 6pm and 8pm.
They are available for everyone who visits.
The books, however, are for reference only whilst at the workshops and cannot be taken home. We do encourage you to visit us when we are 'open' to actively engage in some artyness or simply join us for a cuppa and some company.

Most of the books belong to Taff Rocks and some are on loan to us. We also have tutorial-style books written by one of our members for you to enjoy.
Drop by any first Tuesday of the month, we'd love to see you. Bring yourself, a friend or family members. Age is no restriction!
